Laptop turns on and starts normally until it goes to the lockscreen, where I can move the cursor around normally with any mouse and the touchpad, but no imputs are received. After using ctrl key to go to the next screen and typing in my password, because the keyboard still works, homescreen looks like it is running normally, with the apps highlighting whenever I hover over them, and I am able to open them up. Once I open up any application and/or popup, my touchpad and mouse go back to not receiving any imputs, even though I can still move around the cursor. I have tried using several old and new mice, with no help to the issue. Restarting did not work, and even after a hard reset, I was encountering the same problem.

I have also tried opening the BIOS Setup menu, to search if there were any update issues, at the suggestion of my brother. I did not find anything abnormal. I also successfully went into the computer management, and attempted to see if any parts of my system, including input devices, had any issues. I was met with nothing, as it was saying there were no issues with anything on the laptop.

I have recently tried restarting and reinstalling windows explorer through task manager, that failed, then I installed the latest updates that I missed, that did not work either, finally, I updated and reinstalled the mouse driver, and it did not solve the issue either.
