HP PEN COMPATIBILITY FOR ENVY 13

Hi guys,

I have recently purchased a HP PEN (905512-001/910942-001) Which is compatible with my device. However, i followed the steps to get the pen to work with my laptop...and it doesnt seem to work at all.

Could someone please support with this.

Please check the following compatible list to select a right one.

If your machine is not on the list, come back later for more updates or it may not support active stylus at all.

Model

HP ENVY 13-aq0000 Laptop PC series

Introduced mid-2019

This model is not listed in the Compatibility document.

I did find another resource that indicates the HP Pen 1MR94AA  is supported on at least two models in this series.

Checking your Software and Drivers, neither the driver for Pen Control software is listed.

There is no Firmware update (related to this subject) in your software and drivers support page.

The following driver is appropriate for this Pen. 

I do suggest you update both Windows Updates and (your other) HP Software and Drivers.

Hopefully, this will be enough to provide pen operation.

Hello,

I am having a similar issue with my HP Envy 13-aq0xxx and the HP Tilt Pen which I have recently bought but couldn't get to function after pairing via Bluetooth (the buttons seem to work properly, only that I can't draw using the pen).

I checked the https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05166879  but couldn't find information regarding my laptop. Also, I tried installing the driver mentioned above which didn't help as well.

Do you reckon these two products are compatible? Is there a work around that I am missing?

HP Pen is compatible with the computer in original post.

The HP Pen driver mentioned in the response post is not compatible with any Tilt pen. 

Different devices.

Note:  At this writing, there is not a driver listed for Windows Version 1909.

Will the older driver for version 1903 work?  Unknown.
