As my ordeal continues I did try the disassembly of the display as no other service option made any sense for my situation.
Believe it or not IT WAS a loose connection of the ribbon cable on the back of the display. I remove it, reattach it, set my monitor back in place screw it in and press the bezel into place. All that while taking all the necessary precautions of handling electronics of course! Plastic picks for very light prying, no metal on metal contact, no moisture and making sure my body was grounded!
All was good. I put it back in place, the laptop looked as good as new and after a couple boot-ups NO flickering. Perfect right? No
A little while after using it to study the screen decides it is now gonna show a new problem. Become, COMPLETELY, unusable.
And when I say completely, I do mean it (attached photo is supposed to be BIOS screen.
At the time it happened I was not touching it physically and I'm 99% sure I wasn't even moving my cursor on the screen. Static and untouched. And it decided to die.
Took it back apart to see what the hell happened as my warranty is most likely already dead for something that was not my fault.
Nothing. I moved the ribbon cables, the internal ribbon cable under the black shielding tape. Rebooted, pressed lightly in several spots for ANY reaction. Nothing.
Nice
