HP Pavilion Gaming 15-dk10000 Laptop PC (8VD49AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I am set up using an external monitor with my HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop.  Instructions on configuration for external monitor use work fine - BUT one problem.  Would like to be able to close laptop screen and not have it turn off.  Wife works with an HP Business laptop, can attach monitor and close labtop.  This makes a more comfortable  system for use.  Does anyone know a setting that will allow closing laptop and continue functioning?

Very simple, please allow your external monitor as main (or Display 1) and notebook screen as Display 2. Machine will automatically go back to notebook screen when you remove the external display.

Regards.
