Product: HP Pen

I was using my HP Pen when it suddenly stopped working. I figured the battery must have died so I swapped it out but the pen still doesn't work. This is the HP Pen that came bundled with my HP Pavilion 360 laptop. It is less than a year old and was not damaged at all, it just stopped working while I was using it. I tried updating my laptop but that didn't work. Does anyone know how to fix this? I need my pen working to take notes in school.
