Hello,
I have a HP ProBook 455R notebook and have been using it with a Thunderbolt Dock G2 for about 2 years. I have two external displays connected to the dock via Display Port. I did some work this AM and everything worked as it should. Later I woke my PC from sleep and my displays did not come on. After several restarts I could not use my external displays. My drivers on my laptop and firmware on my dock are up to date.
I contacted HP support and few quickly was told I could by a G4 dock for $300, which would be disappointing! Display works fine with HDMI when connected directly to my laptop. Seems unusual that both Display Ports would stop working at the same time. The rest of the dock appears to function as it should.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I purchased the G4 dock from Amazon and tried it with the same result. I called support and was given two graphic links. One appears to be the graphics driver, which I had already tried to install; however the second was a DisplayLink software update. I am not familiar with DisplayLink and it was not a driver that I attempted to update. Once I did and updated, back in business with my external displays, returning the G4 dock and will continue to use the G2.
