HP Spectre 13t x360 Touchpad Not Working

HP Recommended
HP Spectre 13t x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have currently had this laptop for a little over a year and a half. Occasionally in the past, I would have had issues where the mousepad stops working randomly, but I would just restart my computer and it would be fine. But for the passed few weeks, it's been getting even worse/more common. I currently cannot use my mousepad, and am lucky to have touchscreen otherwise, I wouldn't have been able to make this post. I have uninstalled and reinstalled all the drivers for the touchpads already. Restarted/checked for updates for windows 10, and still nothing has worked. I'm not sure what to do at this point, because it seems like the only way possible for me to get a good use out of the computer is to connect a mouse through the usb port and go from there. Any and all helps is appreciated. Thankyou.

@Rlindrud

I reviewed your post and I understand that the touchpad is not working on the computer.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

What is the product number of your computer?

Meanwhile, I recommend you run a test on the touchpad following the steps in the below article to make sure whether it is a software or a hardware issue.

Note: Refer to the component test section.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
