HP Spectre x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought my HP Spectre June of 2017. I started having some issues with some of the programs I need for my Real Estate and at the time did not have time to resolve..went back to my old computer and STUPIDLY didn't resolve. Now old computer is done and I am out of warranty and still having problems. Most recent, I installed Quicken and can't use it because the screen is off when I open it. I also have a problem with my Scan Snap scanner The dialog box that comes up is so small I can barely see it.  I have attached some pictuers. I know there were other issues but can't remember what they are. Right now I need to get quicken going because I need to pull my tax info off.  Notice the bars at the top are normal sized but the dialog box is small and the quicken is just plain screwed up.Quicken1.JPGQuicken2.JPGScan Snap.JPGScan Snap2.JPG

I would guess from looking at the example screen shots that your software / programs are not written for extra high-resolution screens.

If that is the case....

Visit the provider of the software and see if you can get an updated version that supports the newer / higher resolutions that are now common on newer and high end equipment (computer screens).

Other than that, I can only suggest that you play with the resolution on your computer to perhaps find a compromise / workable screen (resolution) setting that allows the software to function at an acceptable size.

Depending on the exent of control provided on your computer, you might be able to set the font size or manage other parts of the display.

Settings > System > Display

And / Or attach a monitor for which you can set the resolution that is appropriate for the software / programs.
