Microsoft Windows 11

This is my wife's computer, an HP Spectre x360 16-f1023dx which is a great machine. But when she uses it she is constantly complaining to me that the touchpad just stops working and needed to reboot to get it working again. I am trying to determine if there is something that could be causing the touchpad to be disabled and it is happening unintentionally. I have read about touchpads being disabled by a double-tap in the upper lefthand corner. This appears to do nothing on this touchpad except double-click in the corner like any other location on the touchpad.

Let me know if there is anything that can be done to eliminate the possibility of "accidentally disabling" the touchpad and I will give that a try.
