HP Spectre x360 - 13t-aw000 CTO

I have not been able to find any solutions to this problem. My "HP IR Camera" and "HP True Vision Camera" will show up in my device manager with the error:

Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)

To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer.

I've tried reinstalling drivers but to no avail. Can anyone provide support for this?

Hi @kjack2222,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be glad to help you!

I understand how frustrating it must be dealing with the camera issue, especially after an update when everything should ideally work smoothly. Let’s try to resolve this together.

Locate and toggle the webcam privacy switch or press the webcam shutter key

Select HP notebook models come with a webcam privacy switch or a webcam shutter key that turns the webcam off and on. By default, the webcam is turned on. You might need to turn the webcam on if it has been turned off.

Note:Your HP notebook might also have a webcam privacy cover. Slide the cover right to uncover the webcam.

Click here for the remaining steps and if possible try all the possible steps.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
