HP Support Assitance is useless

HP Recommended
HP Spectre x 360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP Support Assistance shows that my Intel High-Definition (HD) Graphics Drivers sp85248 is available for my notebook model (previously identified by the site).

After downlonding this driver my computer shows a error message saying that my notebook does not support this driver.

This and my contonuous problems with my touch screen make think that something really bad was done when my HP laptop was designed/manufactured.

There are two options: 1) The HP Support Assitance is wrong or 2) My laptop is a shame.

HP SA is often very flaky. The intel driver was  available on my support page on March 6 and HP SA still has not recognized it is there- nor the BIOS update posted March 9.

Have you checked your support page for drivers?

What is the Product Number of your Spectre? Info should be in HP SA. Or more ways in this document:

Not sure- but something seems wacky about the Intel drivers on your support page. If you look at the newest one and click on tab "Previous versions" it doesn't really line up as far as versions. Then look at the older one which may be what you have 21.20.16.4542 Rev.A and compare it to newer one 21.20.16.4821 Rev.B

Rev B would follow Rev A- but the numbers would match.

Btw-you mention touchscreen issues. There are firmware updates for the screen. Just be sure to select the right one- QHD or FHD. I believe you have FHD from looking at Specs page:
