Envy 15 powered by AMD Ryzen 4500u
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi

I've got an HP G5 dock along with a new 15" Envy with an AMD Ryzen 4500u CPU.  When connected to the dock, the laptop refuses to turn on with the dock power button and instead I need to raise the lid and press the laptop power button to turn on.  For reference my work device, which is an HP Elite X2 1013 G4 tablet, works fine with the power button on the dock as it does with the Elitebook TB3 docks at work.

Has anyone else come across this before?  There are limited settings in the bios so not much I can change which leads me to think that it might be an incompatibility between the dock and the laptop?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Chris
