HP envy screen on bottom left corner breaking

Microsoft Windows 10 in S Mode

Hello I purchased my laptop in 2018. I have taken very good care of it, but recently the left corner of the monitor is popped out and I can’t move the monitor, let alone close it.  My warranty has expired unfortunately but I’ve found that a lot of people have this same issue with the same left side hinge and screen breaking. I would understand if this was something I did in breaking it. But I have not, it is a poor design and quality for it to have the same issue for everyone that has this laptop. I relay on my laptop for work and don’t have the financial means to repair/replace this at this time.

As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer. 


If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
