Product: HP ProBook 650 G8 Notebook PC (1Y5L5AV)

I want to connect my new Samsung 27" View Infinity S60A monitor to my HP Laptop operating on W10. I am using the HDMI cable that Samsung provided. The screen responds and i can use it.

However, when I  use Settings for Settings > Display > Rearrange your displays > detect,  the message "didn't detect another display" is displayed in red. This is curious as the display seems to be working. However, when I put the PC into Sleep mode, it moves all the windows to the Laptop screen which is extremely annoying.

How can I stop that rearrangement of my work? It was possible on my old Benu screen.
