Microsoft Windows 11

Especially after running my HP Laptop 15s-fq5111TU, if I lift, the screen flickers very severely and laptop freezes.  Need to shutdown system only with long press of power button.  This is a persistent issue.  Kindly share solution.

Hi @Techmx

It may be the flex cable that is not connected correctly or is damaged, in this case you have to take it to a technician to change it, or it may be an update, then try to see if you have updated the BIOS

Thank you for your quick reply.  I appreciate it.  However, this issue doesn't occur with BIOS.  Therefore, possibility of a loose cable can be ruled out.  Had what you said been the issue, then issue would have occurred while running the BIOS.

HP Recommended

That's correct, then update the BIOS, and the intel graphics card

BIOS has already been updated with the latest one.  Tried uninstalling and installing the intel graphics without any success.  Interestingly, it only occurs while lifting, that too at least 20 minutes after starting the laptop.  It never occurs as long as the system is stationary.  Would we suspect any issues with motherboard, RAM, SSD, RAM slots, or any chips.  Kindly advise.

I don't think it's a RAM or SSD problem, disabled Windows fast startup.
