Hey,

I bough this laptop few days back and i noticed that it doesn't have integrated Intel HD Graphics.

Please let me know if there is a problem with the hardware and should send it to HP Care for Diagnosis or is the intel i7 - 9750H comes with no integrated graphic card.

Hi,

Your model came with DOS. So, did you install Windows 10 yoursel? Did you let it completly update or did you install the drivers yourself?

Settings > Update&Security > Verify for updates

have you installed HP support assistant which updates HP drivers and more?

https://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/hpsupportassistant/hpsupport.html

Are these the drivers you installed?

Hi,

Thank you for the response Iomare. Yes you are right my laptop comes with DOS and I installed Windows 10 myself.

I have also installed HP support assistant but there it dont detect any Intel HD graphics.  I even checked in the device manager of windows and it shows only nvidia 1660ti as available graphic card.

I have also tried installing Ububtu, it too have the same issue. It only detect nvidia graphic card but shows no intel HD graphics.

I have tried to install manually the intel HD graphics driver from the link you shared but it says it doesn't satisfies the requirement.

I have been looking for some forms if other people are also facing such problems. It looks like Hp has disabled the intel HD graphics from BIOS settings. I check the BIOS setting but i cant find any advance option to select my Graphics card.

If this is the case, that Hp has disabled the Intel HD graphics from the BIOS its sounds such a stupid decision from Hp. Why would someone disable the Intel HD graphics?

If there is a solution for enabling the dual graphics from the BIOS please let me know.

Hi,

Talking with Expert @Photoray002

"The dc1000 series no longer supports Optimus (switchable graphics). Prior to that, only the laptops that had a GTX 1050 would support it. The larger graphics cards, it was disabled. That was for all versions of the Omen. IF you look at the manual, the dc1000 has changed and does not indicate that it is available any longer. It does show the 1050 has it on the dc0000 series"

Hope it helps,

David
