HP Pavilion 15-inch Displays
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

For the love of god help me. I just bought this HP Pavilion last week, and for a week I loved it! until yesterday. i opened my Pavilion and opened instagram. The app crashed and image bled throught to wall paper. after that my **bleep**s been whack. I have pink lines that show up on the left side of my screen and all things red are now dark grey. Everything has a green tint to it. I know its not my display or a virus. I wiped my computer and now have lost everything to no resolve. I checked bios and found no pink lines but green tint persisted. Im downloading the new drivers now. I tryed to take her back to the store today to get another one and they told me I needed box. FML. I through it away thinking this computer could get ne trough the next 2 years of aircrew training. Im a Marine, I dont have alot of time to play with this. please help.                                  thanks, Derek.                                                                                                                                                                                                                            p.s. from time to time when issue began it would go back to normal....

Hello;

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

Sorry, but there is really nothing we can do for you from here about the PC possibly being faulty and needing to be replaced.

As a general rule, I keep the boxes for equipment until the original warranty runs out, and for laptops, that means a year.  So, throwing away the box in about only a week was a bad idea.

You can TRY contacting HP Customer Support next week when they are back (they don't work on weekends) to see if they can intervene with the store to do anything for you:

If you live in the US or Canada, contact information is on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/phone-assist.html#section1

If you live elsewhere, contact information is on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html

NOTE: After you get through, stay on the line until you are finally able to talk to some one -- it can take a while!

If you have trouble finding a phone number, then try: 1 (800) 474-6836

Good Luck
