I have a video meeting in the AM. During a test it said that my camera was not found. My computer tells me that my camera is unavailable. Is it turned off for some reason. There is no privacy switch on my computer that would shut it off manually. Anyone have any help. I've tried troubleshooting and even went through Microsoft. They said it was a hardware issue not a software issue. Anyone have any help?

I had already tried the solutions regarding the webcam privacy switch nor is there a webcam shutter key. I know my computer has a camera because I have used it before for a previous video conference. I have tried several times to restart my computer and it does not help. I have no idea how my camera ended up being shut down or whatever happened to it.

And of course you have to know that this happened after the warranty ran out on my computer and I neglected to get the extended warranty. Go figure. I have a feeling I am going to end up having to buy another computer and get everything switched over.
