I am trying to hook up dual monitors to my laptop. I bought an icreate J5 switch and it sort of works. But it is not compatible with my wireless keyboard and mouse. The both freeze up. When I hooked a wired keyboard and mouse up it works okay. Is there any way to use a wireless keyboard and mouse with it?

@Donathome,

Thank you for posting your query on HP Community,

The wireless mouse and keyboard response may lag (slow response). This can occur when certain USB 3.0 devices are plugged in adjacent to the wireless keyboard mouse and keyboard receiver. USB 3.0 devices may produce radio noise that can interfere with the receiver if they are too close to it.

RESOLUTION: Prevent the issue by arranging the mouse and keyboard receiver so that there is it least a one port separation between it and any other USB 3.0 devices.

Alternatively, I would suggest here is to update the Bios and Chipset drivers on your PC either from our HP support website, using this link or download it using HP Support Assistant.

To download and install HP support assistant on your PC. It should automatically download and install the latest updates and drivers for your PC.

 Refer this link to know how to use HP support assistant.

Let me know how it goes for further assistance.
