Solved!

Hp Envy
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Like many others my hinge has broken and taken the left lower part of the glass screen out with it. Is there an extended warranty on this poor design? I see wired and can't have this completely go out on me during work shall the wires break. I paid alot of money for this computer and it's only about 2 years old. I have been gentle with it from day one and I feel it's a poor design flaw. Half of my neighborhood works for HP here in Houston and are all familiar with it's issues  .Thanks

Hi @Iamdaddyhere,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Have a great day!

The warranty expired some time late last year which i was  unaware of at the time orninwoukd have brought it in ..Funny thing is I live 3 minutes from HP headquarters here in Houston Texas. Every time I close the tablet I think it may be the last time the screen will work as it gets glass in your fingertips etc..I've only folded it over one time to demonstrate for someone how cool tablet mode was. The screen is broken but still produces a picture but then touch feature is inoperable..
