How to increase dedicated video memory HP Presario CQ62 ?

CQ62 - Product number : XG174PA#ABG System Board: 1484

Bios ver: F.37 with a Windows 10 - 64 bit OS - 4500M chipset

I am using this VERY old laptop as a spare / emergency laptop.

I upgraded the RAM to 6GB ; everything else is stock standard.

Currently have ONLY 64MB dedicated display video memory...

1695MB available graphics memory; not sure how to increase.

The BIOS gives no options to increase dedicated video memory.

I have tried to REGEDIT the registry to increase video memory.

Online / other instructional videos suggested the following:

HKEY_Local_Machine\Software\Intel

Create \GMM folder - new QWORD ( for 64 bit systems)

"DedicatedSegmentSize" - i entered 256 decimal value

I also tried swapping this into DWORD (the 32 bit value )

and converting the 256 into heximal value; neither work

I also tried creating as \DVM - folder; didn't work either

Either the registry or the bios controls the video chipset

OR both and because there are no settings in BIOS it fails

I have tried searching absolutely everywhere for a solution

There is no solution because there is no problem. The video RAM is not subject to user control at all. The amount of video memory is dynamically allocated by the video at the OS level (the driver). There is only 64 megs permanently assigned to video and it can theoretically grab additional system memory for video but rarely does as the video is too weak to utilize much video memory.
