HP ENVY x360 Convertible Laptop PC 13m-bd0023dx

I have a HP Envy 360 13.3 inch screen  laptop.

The hinges came out suddenly when I was  closing the screen side which also broke my laptop screen.

I just want to know what type of manufacturing flaw is this as I can see all over the internet and why does HP being such a renowned company has not done anything for it.  Such a classic and costly laptop which has only been used by me never has it fallen. But still its really disturbing. And now the repair is too costly.

Its already out of warranty. What can ve done now.
