Hp Pen Not Working
07-07-2020 03:13 AM

Hi, I just got a HP Active Pen for my HP Envy 13(not 360) but it is not working. When I bought the laptop I was told that I would need to buy the stylus separately and that it would work perfectly fine but now it's not working. Does anyone have any idea about what could be done next? I have updated all my drivers and all drivers are up to date.

@Anubhav500 Welcome to HP Community!
I understand that the HP pen is not working.
Please let us know the model number of the pen.
Have you replaced the battery and checked?
Try updating the computer, this will install the latest updates -
Step 1 Windows Updates -
1) In the search box, type, and open Windows Updates.
2) Check for updates.
3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
Step 2 Install updates using HP Support Assistant
- In the search box, type, and open HP Support Assistant.
- Check for updates.
- If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.
Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same.

I have done everything. Changed batteries, updated my device drivers manually. HP assistant is already installed. The shopkeeper tells me that my laptop doesn't support active styluses but when I was buying the product, I was informed that it would work. Got scammed!
Also tried to use the same pen on a Surface, worked perfectly fine!
