Hi @aman119187,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are facing an issue with your HP Pavilion Aero 13 touchpad isn't working and you can't find it in the settings, try the following steps:
Check the Touchpad Function Key:
- Look for a function key on your keyboard (usually F1 to F12) with an icon resembling a touchpad. Press this key along with the Fn key to toggle the touchpad on or off.
Enable the Touchpad in Settings:
- Go to Settings > Devices > Touchpad.
- Make sure the touchpad is enabled and adjust the sensitivity settings if needed.
Update or Reinstall Touchpad Drivers: Software and Drivers for HP Pavilion Aero 13.3 inch Laptop PC 13-be0000
- Open Device Manager (right-click the Start button and select Device Manager).
- Find Mice and other pointing devices. Right-click on your touchpad device and select Update driver.
- Choose Search automatically for updated driver software. If it doesn’t find any updates, you may need to visit the HP website to download the latest drivers.
Check for Windows Updates:
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and make sure your system is up to date.
Perform a Hardware Troubleshooter:
- Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.
- Select Hardware and Devices and run the troubleshooter to detect and fix issues.
Check BIOS Settings:
- Restart your laptop and enter the BIOS/UEFI settings (usually by pressing Esc, F10, or F2 during startup).
- Look for touchpad settings and ensure it’s enabled.
Perform a System Restore:
- If the touchpad was working before and suddenly stopped, you might want to perform a system restore to a point when it was working. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Recovery > Open System Restore and follow the instructions.
Reset Your PC:
- As a last resort, you can reset your PC. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Recovery and choose Reset this PC. Be sure to back up your data before doing this.
