HP Recommended
15-EK0013DX , 27I 8AC94AA
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I’ve listed both model numbers of the products I’m inquiring about under product name. My question is will connecting my laptop to my monitor via tb3(laptop) to usb type A or HDMI (monitor) give me the same results as connecting miniDP(laptop) to DP(monitor) and if so will I be able to run accessories off of the external monitor as well as daisy chain to another monitor. The goal is gaming while also minimizing port usage on the laptop. If I can get the same FPS and resolution as a miniDP while also being able to connect accessories to the monitor rather than the laptop itself I would be very pleased. Please let me know if this is possible with my current setup.
