I am seeing vertical dotted lined on the left side of my screen.

I am seeing vertical dotted lined on the left side of my screen. They seem to be there even if i tried restarting it and the lines seems to be increasing in few weeks. What might be the reason for it.

The display seems going bad. Since this could be a Hardware issue, the unit might need repair, I would request you to contact HP Phone support who can schedule a repair as per the warranty and the issue can be fixed.
