Hi @TipD,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like you're having trouble with the display on your HP All-in-One PC. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the issue.
- Check Connections: Make sure all cables are securely connected, including the power cord and any cables connecting the display.
- Power Cycle: Turn off the computer completely, unplug it from the power source, and hold down the power button for about 15 seconds. Then plug it back in and try turning it on again.
- External Monitor: Connect an external monitor to the PC to see if you get a display there. If the external monitor works, the issue might be with the built-in screen or its connections.
- Brightness: Ensure that the brightness is not turned all the way down. Sometimes the display might be on but too dim to see.
- BIOS Reset: Try resetting the BIOS by turning off the PC, then turning it back on while pressing the F10 key repeatedly until the BIOS menu appears. This might reset the settings that could be affecting the display.
- Inspect for Damage: Check if there are any visible signs of damage on the screen or the computer itself.
- Hardware Check: If you’re comfortable with it, you might want to open up the computer to ensure that no internal cables have become loose.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
