The other day, I dropped my Chromebook after the chord got pulled and it fell face down. I screen went off but not completely. It was a black color but it was kind of lit up so I knew it was on. Earlier today it was working and the screen was fine but after a few and as I opened it a certain amount, the screen went black again. The brightness is all the way up, its charged, I tried to reset it even though I couldn't see the screen as well yet it still doesn't seem to be working. When I initially dropped it, the front part that covers the screen popped off but I kinda just put it back. The fall made the lap top fold out a bit more than it should but nothing seems to actually be broken on the outside. It closes but its almost as if its stretched a bit or something because it stays barely open once I close it. I need your help please.

Dropping a laptop is the most destructive thing you can do to it.  Is has almost certainly suffered internal damage and we here have no way to examine it or diagnose the issue.

 

To determine the cause with hardware failures, you have to be able run diagnostics. We have no way of accessing your PC from here, so we can not do that for you. You have to do it yourself. You do this by pressing the Esc key repeatedly when rebooting and then, when the HP Startup Menu appears, selecting Diagnostics (usually F2) and letting it run.

But if it is NOT possible to run diagnostics, then there is NOTHING more you can do by yourself -- and there is NOTHING we can do.

You will need to have the laptop physically examined in a service facility by folks that can run their own diagnostics to determine what is wrong with it. And the problem with that is, while HP does do repair work of some sorts on PCs still under warranty, they generally do NOT do repair work on PCs out of warranty because they are not a general purpose repair facility. You would have to contact them in advance to see (1) if they are willing to work on it, and (2) if they will provide you any kind of repair cost estimate.
