Uninstalled the driver in windows control pannel and also uninstlled the HP software that scans the comupter for updates. Seems this update was not needed or not ready for prime time. Maybe!

Greetings @ETP

Thanks for the post.

I understand that you are getting a prompt stating that Intel 520 HD Graphics driver is failing to update, is that right?

Not to worry, I will be glad to assist you.

May I know the method you are following to update the driver?

May I know the exact product number of your computer? Click here. Please do not share the serial number of your computer.

Recommend you open device manager by doing a right-click on the Windows button.

Check if Intel graphics is listed under Display adapters.

If it listed, you can ignore the message you are getting from HP Support Assistant.

If it is not listed and you are unable to update it using HPSA, please visit www.hp.com/drivers and enter the product number of your computer.

Download and install the Intel HD graphics driver manually.

Let me know if this helped.
