Dear Sirs and Madams,

 

I got yesterday a prompt to download and update the update file HPDC_Service_4.9.25.0. F-Secure did not find any problems with it, but I am still somehow suspicious, because  same update was topic of discussion in one of these forums as early as 2023. Thus, is this from HP, what problems it should correct - I do not have any at the moment, and what if I d not run it? The computer that received it, is Pavillon all in one.

Hi @Ööööö 

 

Yes, it is legitimate. Display Control can be updated if desired. The main function of this program is to allow some AIO models to be used as external monitors connected to other computers.
