Can anyone help to resolve this!!
I have encountered with my HP 240 14-inch G9 Notebook Laptop (5B168AV). I have been using the HP USB Type-C Multiport Hub to connect to an external display. This setup was working perfectly until recently, but after a series of system updates, I am now facing the following problem:
- When attempting to connect to an external display through the USB Type-C Multiport Hub, I receive a message stating that "Display connections may be limited on this device."
- The issue appears to have started after recent updates.
- The multiport hub and HDMI connection work without issue on other laptops, so I have ruled out any fault with the hub itself.
- All ports on the hub are functioning correctly, except for the display output in this particular laptop.

Are you sure about that ? Its specs says It only has 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate port which
which does NOT support Alt mode nor Power Delivery. You can NOT use it to
- Charge your machine,
- Connect to an external monitor with/without hub/dock/adapter
Regards.
