JUst got this chromebook and camera was on but teacher noticed the camera was on but he didnt see me

I just got this chromebook for my son. The camera was on and the person that was on the other end couldnt see him> the teacher said he saw the camera was on but he couldnt be seen. He was on a zoom meeting.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:  

Use these basic steps to troubleshoot the webcam.

  • Locate and toggle the webcam privacy switch or press the webcam shutter key
  • Select HP notebook models come with a webcam privacy switch or a webcam shutter key that turns the webcam off and on. By default, the webcam is turned on.
