Microsoft Windows 11

The lettering on my HP laptop is rubbing off. This started when it was just 6 months old and has just got significantly worse over time. It is no longer possible at all to see the letters I or N and the following are all part erased 'backspace, E, O, A, L, S and M. When I contacted them HP weren't interested at all and told me it's just " fair wear and tear" so not covered by the warranty or the extended warranty that  i had with the laptop. I'm trying to find suitable replacement stick on letters - can find plenty of white print on black background but this is a silver coloured laptop so that would look awful. Has anyone any bright ideas? Has anyone managed to find a supplier who can help with replacement stick on letters for a silver HP laptop? It's a Evny model and has a 17" screen with Bang and Olufsen sound system.  Thanks
