I have an HP LP2480zx Dreamcolor 24" monitor.  It's old but still a great monitor.  The other day I hit Reset to factory calibration in the Color Space menu in the OSD.  All my color spaces disappeared.  Does anyone know how to add these back?  My color calibrations are all off now.  Monitor was working great before this happened.  From reading the online information about this monitor, I would need a 32-bit OS to run the HP Calibration Software with the puck.  I don't have that.  Anyone else have a solution for this?

Hello Theo,

Don't worry! Modern 64bit OS's are backwards compatible with 32bit programs. Normally, Intel and AMD CPU's are listed as x86_64, meaning they can run both 64bit and 32bit OS's/programs. You should be able to safely run the program with no problems.

I hope this helps! Let me know.

Hi Bookworm.  Thank you for your reply.  When I tried the software on a 64-bit OS, the calibration software would not recognize the connected USB cable.  I spun up a VM of an old Win7, and ran the software in that, and the cable was recognized.  IDK.  Painful process.

I can't figure out how to get all the Colors spaces added back in the OSD on the monitor.  The Color space use to show FULL and srgb, and something else.  They are now all gone.  How do you add these back to the monitor OSD?

Thank you,

Theo
