Hello

The colours on my laptop are very washed out and bright. They are fine at the log in page but once I put my password and open windows it turns into this weird pale color.

Any idea on how to solve this?

I have a similar situation, just bought a laptop HP g7, colors are faded, white is not white, more yellowish, contrast is poor, my 15 years old laptop display looks better.  I have installed the latest drivers for graphic cards, it does not make any change. Tried with calibration, very poor improvement. Any idea what is wrong from HP staff ?
