Say, laptop fell on its right side (side with the HDMI adaptor).
The screen works but its "grainy",. It leaves a shadow of the last screen when nothing is displayed on the screen.
Please advise how to repair

I wish we could help you on this but we here are unable to assist you in this issue.
We are just a Community Support forum staffed by part-time volunteers not associated with HP.
We have no access to other HP functional areas including: billing, repairs and Service Centers, sales, or warranty. Nor are we able to contact customers -- via chat, via email, or via telephone.
For direct contact with HP, your best bet is to contact HP Customer Service to see what they will do for you:
https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/cv/customerservice
IF HP is unwilling to assist you in this, you will need to seek out a local laptop repair facility -- but be warned, this kind of repair is VERY expensive as you not only have to pay retail+ for the part, you also have to pay for the replacement to be done plus running diagnostics. Don't be surprised if the total cost exceeds that of replacing the laptop.
I am a volunteer and I do not work for, nor represent, HP
