HP Pavilion Power - 15-cb060na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I brought this Laptop only 2 months ago and the Laptop brightness keeps flickering between dim light and full brightness. I have updated my BIOS already several times but it is not resolving the problem.

Hi @SandipanSahana

Good Day. A warm welcome to the HP community. I reviewed the case regarding issues with notebook. I will be delighted to assist you here.

Re-start the notebook and keep tapping F10. Check if the notebook flickers in this screen as well.

Let me know. 🙂

Hi,

Yes, I have tried that option too. BIOS screen is not flickering. I have entered into the BIOS setup and pressed F9 to set default BIOS setup. But after few times the brightness keeps flickering again and goes to dim.

Thanks for the response.

In this case, Let's try to update the graphics driver.

Goto device manager, look for graphics controllers, expand them, right click on the graphics driver, then re-start the notebook.

Also, I would like to know whether it flickers only with certain apps, or in a certain angle.

Let me know. 🙂
