I recently bought this gaming laptop as both the vendor and the hp datasheet (at https://www8.hp.com/h20195/v2/GetPDF.aspx/c06681044.pdf) showed it to have a 144hz refresh rate display. After trying several times to set the display to 144hz without success (from advanced settings in control panel, from Nvidia control panel, etc...), I contacted the HP Support and they couldn't help me, they just made me waste my time beacuse they didn't know what to do. Now I've checked the technical specs from the HP Support Assistant app and it shows that the monitor has only 60hz refresh rate.
I even tried to contact Nvidia's support and they told me that it's a "manufacturer limitation because the laptop screen is connected to Intel card & not nvidia".
Now the question is: am I getting scammed by HP? I mean, one of the reason I've bought this laptop was that it had a 144hz display and it costed me a lot of money, now it seems that they said something false. And there's also the sticker saying "144hz refresh rate" on the screen...
