The screen won't turn on .I tried draining battery and all of that but no avail.

I had this issue ~6 months ago and again the scree refused to turn on. I know the laptop was on as my mouse was wired rgb and it changed colors which meant the laptop was getting power. Fast forward 6 months, I tried again a few days ago and by simply pressing the power button it turned on. However today when I unplugged the battery and grabbed myself a glass of water, it display won't turn on again. Any idea why and what to do?
