My HP Envy laptop’s left hinge has broken and is now pulling the screen up on that side. I feel that this is a defect in this laptop and since so many other people are having the same issue, it should either be fixed or replaced at no cost. Thank you

Hi @Juicyj99,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

I see that you are facing hinge issues with your HP ENVY X360 Convertible Laptop PC 15m-Ed1013dx

This could be a hardware issue with the unit and may need repair.

I suggest that you contact HP Service Center in your location from this weblink: https://support.hp.com/us-en/help/service-center
Note: Select your country from the dropdown,  enter the city or postal code, select the product, change the radius, and click on search to locate the nearest HP Service center near your location.

Hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

This is not a solution to the problem because it is a very common problem. It shouldn’t be happening to a laptop that costs so much and is supposed to be good quality. I feel as though I am not responsible for this defect in the laptop because I have never dropped or damaged this laptop in anyway. The hinge broke from regular use because I don’t even use the tablet part anyway.
