Hi, The left lower corner and the right side of my laptop screen is a very dark grey making it hard to read anything on that part of the screen. I'm not sure what I can do to rectify this issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Hi @Mia2505,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I'd like to help!

I undertsand the screen is darker on the left and right lower corner

To assist better -

  • When was the last time it worked without these issues?
  • • Have you updated Graphics and Chipset drivers?
  • • Have you checked the display on an external monitor?

Let’s try these steps to resolve the problem:

I recommend you attempt to access the BIOS screen by tapping on F10 while the computer is restarting,  If the issue persists in the BIOS screen which is outside windows, it would confirm a hardware failure.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
