Hello folks,
I have been tasked with sourcing and replacing a screen for a HP ENVY 13 laptop and would like a little help. The replacement process I am comfortable with, however, finding a new screen is proving to be confusing.
Having had a look at the part surfer and finding nothing, I scoured the internet instead and found various seemingly similar screens with different model numbers. So here is my conundrum: the model of the device in my possession is 'AQ1008NA'. Would a screen with the model number 'AQ1001NA' be compatible or would I have to look for specifically the 'AQ1008NA' model?
Further, if parts from other models are cross-compatible, is there a list I should be aware of? Or is it just what is listed in the guide? Maintenance and Service Guide HP ENVY 13 Laptop PC - c06271813
Cheers.
