I am missing the key cap and pad on my elitebook for the letter c, I have tried to look online to replace it but with no luck unless I pay extortionate prices. Is there any way of getting a replacement from HP, even if it is just the keypad as the key cap may be in my house and I can look for it.
Thank you in advance for any help,
I hope this is something that can be helped as I love my laptop but the key is needed for my essay writing.

I've replace a half-dozen different HP model laptop keyboards over the years, and I do not recall any place that will sell you parts of the keyboard.
You can contact HP Customer Support, but I think you will get the same answer.
If you live in the US or Canada, contact information is on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/phone-assist.html#section1
If you live elsewhere, contact information is on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html
NOTE: After you get through, stay on the line until you are finally able to talk to some one -- it can take a while!
If you have trouble finding a phone number, then try: 1 (650) 857-1501.
