Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I have owned this laptop since July 2019 and the touchpad has become increasingly stiff.  This has gotten worse in the last 6 months.  Is this a problem people are experiencing?

 

Also, I have a problem with my Mic for applications like Zoom.  It was once resolved by HP following remote tweaking.  I have since uploaded Windows 11 and it threw it off again.  After the attendance spent 3 days of trying, it got worse with no sound from speakers  (with no mic for speaking). I am advised to re-install Windows 11 which would be a huge inconvenience.  I may try another HP expert.
