My HP Omen Laptop has a black screen with no cursor. External monitor has display.

I did not make any recent driver updates, but since getting the black / blank screen have updated HP drivers, updated BIOS, Reset PC, and ran HP hardware Diagnostics Windows 2.5.0.0. Still seeing blank screen.

Hi,

When you go into Windows settings does it see the internal screen? Do you have it in duplicate or extended mode?

Now if the screen is black, most likely you will need to replace the screen.

When you do system diagnostics tests, does everything pass?
