Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

back 3-4 month, I accidently pressed my laptop bottom of the lid, between the hinge by my knee. I got a small crack sound, but there was no external physical damage. I opened up my laptop and I got quarter half of the screen completely dark. I was so afraid so I pressed the middle-bottom of the hinge again and it got horrible. The remaining part of the display which was usable got faded to white when logging in to windows.107099705_273988797269479_974652610971781670_n.jpg105994498_587858581933925_7150430205400467271_n.jpg after a day when i repressed the exact same position as before, the remaining part of display came back to working, but it started to flicker randomly. so I to toggle privacy button which indeed reduced the flickering.

I'm currently using my laptop with quarter half black screen and that Flickering issue is gone slowly, but completely after months of usage. the remaining screen is working perfectly for now. This post is written in this laptop as shown below:

I went through reddit, quara & youtube in search of causes & solutions. Most of them included either the problem is with display panel or the ribbon cables.

But i think the mini circuit boards which connects the display panel & the ribbon cable is broken. I don't want to waste money buying the display being reluctant, if the problem was with other parts. I want to know the exact component causing the problem so i can replace with without hesitation.
