HP Spectre x2 Detachable 12-c0XX
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My touch screen is not working properly, I saw that it is like some parts of the screen was pressed so I wasn´t able to work good, so I had to disabled the touch device driver because I wasn´t working.

I did:

-A touch test at diagnostics, and everything is ok

-A driver update

-A bios update

-A Windows 10 update.

The Spectre is out of warranty so I am asking what is the part number to change the touch screen or what else could I do.?

Hi@Javier_A99, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I have a few steps that should resolve your concern:

I recommend checking if the Touch is working on BIOS (Accessed by tapping on F10 while restarting the computer).

If it works on bios, it's a software issue, update the drivers from the HP Website, if the issue persists: please reinstall windows using the recovery partition or the recovery media to fix the issue

Attempt to run a test using the HP hardware diagnostic tool

If it doesn't work on BIOS or the diagnostics tool either,

it's a hardware failure and you may need to Contact HP to set up a hardware repair service.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
