My USB-c dock G5 works with my HDMI-connected display when I connect a HP notebook from work.

But when I connect my old windows 10 gaming laptop it gets confused:

The display is detected by Windows and extends the desktop and I can see the display in settings. But no signal is recieved by the display.

Some investigation using the NVIDIA controlpanel gives a clue that I can configure sound to the monitor at _Displayport (2)_! That option disappears when I unplug the HDMI-cable.

That must be a bug in the docking station.

I have updated the drivers according to the support page for the dock

@Banhien

My other computer is an  ASUS Gaming laptop with a GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card. Does that matter?
