HP Envy X360 M6 Convertible
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Skype, Zoom, and video calls of any kind do not work on my HP Envy X360 M6-w103dx (Convertible) laptop.

When I open my camera, I get the "We can't find your camera" error message and following error code:

0xa00f4244 <NoCamerasAreAttached>

I have restarted the computer multiple times. I have no "camera privacy switch" on the side of my physical laptop to turn on and off.

Hi BH, thank you for your response, I appreciate your help.

I have tried all the steps on that page. There is no imaging device listed in my Device Manager, and nothing changes when I Scan for Hardware Changes.

The instructions state "If Device Manager does not recognize the webcam after the scan, use Microsoft System Restore to go back to a time when the webcam was working properly."

However, there are no directions or information on how to do this, or what Microsoft System Restore is.
