HDMI cable is not working, cable working but pc port now showing used to show but not now

If you're using an external monitor connected to the HDMI cable connected to the laptop, it could also be the monitor.

 

So, you would have to switch in a different monitor to confirm it is just the cable.

 

And if it is the cable, you would have to swap in a different cable to confirm the cable is bad.
